This product is easy to clean and use. However, it is smaller than the original plastic tray design, so it doesn't sit quite right in the feeder. It functions as though it were intended to be placed in a plastic tray, rather than a full replacement for a missing/broken plastic tray.
Henry loves eating from the inserts in his CatMate200 feeder. I love how they make cleaning up after his meals so easy, do not absorb odors from his food, and are safe for him to eat out of.

I bought this to minimize plastic exposure to cats in case of feline acne, these inserts are a bit smaller than the plastic ones that come with catmate automatic feeders, i first used it instead of plastic inserts but it wobbled and then I realized I could put it in plastic insert which makes more sense and fits perfectly
These dishes fit perfectly inside the feeder. They are sturdy, easy to clean, and more sanitary than the plastic dish that comes with the feeder, especially if you are using wet food rather than kibble.
